The Wecan Food Basket Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable food security to community members throughout the Edmonton area.

Food Security is more than having enough food to meet every person’s daily nutritional needs; it also means having a variety of fresh food to fuel a healthy lifestyle.

With the Wecan Food Basket Society, families and individuals in the Capital Region can buy fresh meat and produce each month for more than 25% off retail grocery store prices. The Food Basket program is open to everyone because we all have a right to proper nutrition at an affordable price.
